Black Forest Labs image models with a pay-per-image API and open weights

FLUX is a family of image generation models built by Black Forest Labs, a frontier AI lab. The models create photorealistic and stylized images from text prompts and are available through an API, a browser playground and open-weight releases.
Developers call the API and pay per generated image, with rates varying by model and resolution from 768 by 768 up to 4K. Teams that want to self-host license open weights such as FLUX.2 klein and dev under Builder, Platform, Professional or Enterprise tiers with monthly image limits.
Developers, product teams, agencies and AI dataset builders use FLUX. A Synthetic Data tier grants training data rights.
The vendor says there are no subscriptions or seat fees. FLUX.2 flex is $0.024 per image, and FLUX.2 pro and other variants start at $0.048 per image. Open-weight licenses run from Builder (10K images per month) to custom Enterprise.
